FAQs
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is black tie. Ladies should wear formal dresses, long or midi length is preferred, and the gentlemen should wear a tux.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
The average temperature in Saint Louis in November for a typical day ranges from a high of 55°F to a low of 35°F. Some would describe it as cold with a gentle breeze. Expect enjoyable, comfortable temperatures in the sunshine and a possible chilly breeze at night fall.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The church ceremony will be fully indoors. The reception venue at The World’s Fair Pavilion is an open-air but fully covered structure. The cocktail hour will take place on the outdoor scenic patio, overlooking Forest Park. The seated dinner, live music, and dancing will occur inside, under the enclosed pavilion.
Will there be transportation services provided?
For any guests planning on driving, there is street parking available at the church and a parking lot behind the reception venue in Forest Park. There will be shuttle services provided for room-block hotel guests from the Chase/AC Hotels. The route stops will be from the hotels to the church, to the venue, and back to the hotels at the end of the night. Uber is also easily accessible in the area at anytime.
What time should I arrive?
For the ceremony, please arrive no later than 3:45pm. We will begin promptly at 4:00pm.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, of course.
